For the EUCARE project, the personal right for privacy is a top priority and is at the center of the design of our information environment systems. This Personal Data Protection Policy (PDP Policy) applies to the project website https://eu-care.net/.

1.    Who we are

EUCARE is a consortium of organizations which collaborate to achieve the project objectives. According to this EUCARE PDP Policy, the entity responsible for data management is the EUCARE team with email address: info@eu-care.net.

The EUCARE project website is public for desktop and mobile versions in the local languages ​​of the participating countries. It serves both as means for communicating any news to the public and as a platform for accessing trainings, educational and informational materials.

This PDP Policy is intended to help you understand what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can manage your information.

3.    The data which we collect

EUCARE does not intend to collect and process any personal data, rather, if the website user chooses to provide such data, this will be treated in compliance with the principle of privacy and non-interference in the personal matters of its visitors and users.

In case you do not agree with the described Policy and/or do not wish your personal data to be stored on the website and processed by EUCARE, please do not provide us with your personal data.

For the purposes of the services offered by EUCARE, the website does not require the provision of any personal data by users seeking information about EUCARE or access to information and/or training materials.

EUCARE would only have access to personal data if voluntarily provided by individuals and would only share it with third parties with their express consent or where there is a legal obligation to do so. The decision about nature and the amount of personal data to be share remains the right of the website users to decide.

With respect to the provision of the Training service, accessible from the Training section, the website redirects to a platform for providing online training, where any interested user can take a free online training course. The platform requires each user to register by filling out a registration form for the purpose of collecting statistical information necessary to report the project results to the funding program. When registering, the user should fill in the following fields:

  • MANDATORY – username (free text); country (drop-down menu); gender (drop-down menu);
  • OPTIONAL – personal and family name (free text).

The provision of the user’s personal and family name is not mandatory and is provided as an option only for the purpose of issuing a certificate for training completion. In case the user does not wish to receive such a certificate with his/her personal and family name on it, he/she may not fill in this data at registration. This will not affect in any way the quality or scope of the training.

Also, the website cookies do not collect personal data such as IP address, location, etc.

The services that the site offers, as well as its functionalities, are not intended for the storage and processing of personal data and special categories of data within the meaning of Art. 9 and Art. 10 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

The website administrator does not store or send through the website to anyone and in any form information containing personal data and special categories of data and/or sensitive data.

Individuals should note that EUCARE is essentially a website which provides an information environment.

Purposes for which personal data could be processed by the EUCARE website:

·      Related to the fulfilment of EUCARE’s legal obligations, including the statutory obligations to preserve and/or provide information upon request by the competent state or judicial authorities.

Storage period__:

The registration made on the EUCARE website is stored for the period of the active registration and for a period of 1 (one) year after its termination.
